The Method by which contracts commence and progress will vary depending on the individual merits of each project. When appointed as Principal Contractor, a detailed Health and Safety Plan is prepared and developed in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994, and presented to both Client and Planning Supervisor for discussion. A preliminary programme, outlining the sequence of intended operations will also be prepared. Both can subsequently be altered to incorporate agreed amendments and/or client requirements.

A typical statement of method will detail the phasing and progression of works, and the manner in which they will be approached, together with information on the types of plant and resources to be used.

Where the works to be carried out require a further degree of attention, specific items will be brought to the attention of the client and measures discussed to ensure successful execution.
