 The
Might of Demolition Services Ltd is an addition to our already
existing Muscle and it refers to our most recent and exciting
purchase, the Liebherr
R 974 B Litronic. This machine is essential in the safe  demolition
of high rise structures. The machine, with hydraulic lifting
cab protection, dust suppression, extra counterweight with
removable track
frame unit
for ease of transportation, can be modified to include an
extended boom, with transfer section and dipper arm, with
a capacity to carry a 10
ton demolition processor attachment with a reach of 42 metres,
is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
As it has been recognised by Demolition
Services Ltd, today’s
growing environmental concerns and evermore stringent legislation,
have meant greater demands are being placed upon contractors
serving the demolition and recycling sectors. Therefore with
the new addition to our fleet of excavators, crushers, screeners
and dozers we can carry out demolition safely and economically
at an adequate distance, which is achieved by the stability
of the machine.

To date, the long reach excavator has been utilised
on site at the former APV Engineering Works in Peterborough to demolish
a 10 storey reinforced
office block and on site in Huddersfield at the former Holiday
Dyes & Chemicals
Plant and will continue to be put to use on our current and future
contracts in order to continue to increase the quality of service and capability. |
