CEO - Jenna Romani
Jenna became Chairman of the company in 2010, taking over from her father who founded and led the company for over 30 years. Jenna has been immersed in the industry from a very young age and has grown up with a deep understanding and experience of the technical, commercial and client facing requirements of the business. Jenna is involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the company and has an entrepreneurial drive to take the company forward.
Managing Director - Tony Wray
Tony is a qualified quantity surveyor who joined the company in 1990. Prior to this he worked with both regional and international main contractors on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. He has been Demolition Services Managing Director since 2000 and has worked in the construction and demolition industries for 35 years. Tony is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, Association of Planning Supervisors and is NEBOSH qualified. His responsibilities lie in the day to day administration of the company with a focus on Health, Safety, Environment & Quality assurance and commercial matters.
Special Projects - Tim Arnold
Tim has worked with DSL for 10 years and is responsible for overall site Operations Management. Tim has knowledge of and experience with industrial demolition and decommissioning for blue chip companies, universities, NHS, manufacturing, chemical and regeneration projects as well as power stations including Ferrybridge, Rugely, Great Yarmouth and Battersea.
Senior Health & Safety Manager - Charlene Walsh Msc CMIOSH CMaPS MIDE GMICE TIExpE
Charlene has over 14 years Health and Safety Managerial experience within the demolition industry. She is NEBOSH and IOSH qualified and holds a black Demolition Site Manager Card. Charlene is responsible for the Company’s Health and Safety overall compliance.
Senior Contracts Manager - Matt Harker
Matt is a Senior Level Contracts Manager with over 25 years’ experience in the Construction and deconstruction Industry and with a proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships. Matt has a solid experience in all aspects of contract management including pre, during and post contract, Budget Control, Site and Line Management with strong commercial awareness and a passion for Safety. Matt holds a CCDO Black Demolition Managers card, is NEBOSH qualified, a CPCS Appointed Persons and Temporary Works Co-ordinator.
Technical Manager - Paul Henry
Paul started his career as a qualified mining engineer with British Coal and spent 22 years overseeing various large-scale mining and engineering projects, including the rationalisation of British Coal’s mining operations and assets. This included significant amounts of demolition on various British Coal sites across the UK. He joined the company in 1994 as Technical Manager and manages various technical and operational activities for the company, including the preparation of detailed RAMS information, programme and contract management. Paul also manages our asbestos removal division, overseeing all contracts where asbestos removal is required.
